JJ Rorie is Associate Professor of the Practice at Johns Hopkins University, founder and CEO of Shyft PM, and one of the most recognized voices in product management today. Her work is grounded in a single conviction: great product managers are built, not found — and in an AI-driven world, the human skills that make them great matter more than ever.
That belief led JJ to write Immutable: 5 Truths of Great Product Managers and ultimately to create the 5 Dimensions of Great Product Managers — a practical, research-grounded framework that defines what high-impact product management actually looks like, and gives leaders the tools to develop it intentionally. Shyft PM is the home for that work: a talent training, coaching, and advisory company that helps organizations find, develop, and elevate PM talent at every stage.
